In addition to using the cleanest engines and corresponding fuels, we arrived at Bauma 2025 with a true first for Waterking. The WK350 NG-E was developed in collaboration with Staad B.V. & Damen. This breakthrough in the dredging sector opens up new possibilities and sets the stage for a new standard: fully electric.
With current developments in the field of electrification, Waterking has also taken the step to create a fully electric dredging set: the WK 350 NG-E. This was developed in cooperation with Staad B.V. and DAMEN.
Staad B.V. supplied the electric upper structure, which draws its power from custom-designed Powerboxes by Fusion (a sister company of Staad B.V.). DAMEN provided the E-DOP 150 to complete the set.
It is also possible to build the 22-ton class, the WK 220 NG-5, as a fully electric machine.
