WK 55 NG-A
The WK 55 NG-A is the larger version of the WK 20. With its adjustable undercarriage, this machine is ideal for working in narrow waterways.
The machine has an adjustable width ranging from 2.25 to 3.22 meters and can operate even in its narrowest position.
The amphibious excavator has a track width of 87 cm, resulting in extremely low ground pressure. This allows operations to be carried out on embankments as well, without causing significant damage to the subsoil.
The WK55 NG-A can operate in shallow waters up to 1 meter deep. Once the amphibious excavator begins to float, the use of side pontoons becomes mandatory for carrying out the work. The side pontoons are equipped with hydraulic spud poles, which are operated from the cabin. With side pontoons, the working depth is approximately 2.5 meters.
In addition, centre pontoons can be added, enabling the machine to be ES-TRIN certified. This makes working on water even more stable and safer.
