WK 220 NG-5
The WK 220 NG-5 is the amphibious excavator that has been part of the very beginning of Waterking. A versatile machine machine for large-scale nature restoration projects and dredging work, with many different options available.
22-tonne amphibious excavator
The standard working depth of the WK 220 NG-5 is up to 1.2 metres. With additional pontoons, this increases to 4.95 metres. These additional pontoons are fitted with hydraulic spud legs that can be operated from the cab. This amphibious excavator is available with an ES-TRIN certificate.
By opting for a non-adjustable undercarriage, this results in a number of many operational advantages. The pontoons are wider, provide greater stability and a lower ground pressure. Another advantage is that there is no special transport permit required.
The assembly and dismantling of the WK 220 NG-5 takes 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the set-up. This amphibious excavator is widely used in large-scale nature restoration projects and dredging work.
The WK 220 NG-5 is available as Dredge Version.
