Our Amphibious Machines

From compact 2-ton machines that move smoothly through ditches to 35-ton giants and custom ‘specials’ that brave tidal areas.

Since 2005, Waterking has been building amphibious excavators that set the standard in power, stability and versatility. Newly available, young used or for rent. With proven quality and flexibility, our machines give you the freedom to work where others get stuck.

Extensive range

If needed and desired, we also build fully electric models, even up to 40 tons. These are not part of our standard range, but they’re certainly worth mentioning.

WK 220 & 350 dredge

Complete in one go by selecting the full Dredge Version. Special extra holders have been developed for the boom to hold the piping for pumping the substances. This version includes DOP, Powerpack and piping. Possible with the WK 220 and WK 350.

Features: depending on the selected size

Electric

The world premiere of the WK350 NG-E, paving the way for both the WK220 and WK350 to be converted to electric as well.

Waterking: Areas of Operation

Under which conditions are Waterking amphibious excavators suitable?

Our machines feel at home where others wouldn’t even dare to start.
Think of narrow ditches that barely seem passable, shallow ponds where you’d normally get stuck, vast marshlands, stream valleys, peat areas, and dynamic tidal zones.
That’s where Waterking’s amphibious excavators truly come into their own.

Need to operate in deeper waters?
Then we deploy additional pontoons and spud poles to enhance stability and reach. Even on busy, navigable waterways, we take it a step further. With center pontoons and ES-TRIN certification, we build machines that meet the strictest European safety standards.

By operating with an ES-TRIN certified machine, the safety of both the machine and the operator is ensured, no matter where in the world it is deployed.

The production process

Discover how we forge steel into craftsmanship and innovation

Every Waterking machine begins as an idea on the drawing board. In our workshop in Tynaarlo, craftsmanship and innovation come together. Here, we weld, bolt, test, and fine-tune until every detail is just right.

We work closely with trusted partners, but the soul of every machine is created by us. Only when an excavator arm cuts smoothly through the test pond and a chassis effortlessly proves its buoyancy do we give the green light. Only then can it be released into the world, ready for transport to any conceivable work area.

ES-TRIN Certification

Ensures the safety of the machine and its operator

Safety on the water is not an option, it’s an absolute requirement.

That’s why, in 2021, we took a step beyond the rest. Since then, Waterking has been the only manufacturer in the world to deliver amphibious excavators with an official ES-TRIN certificate.

This European certificate is mandatory for work on navigable inland waterways and sets the strictest standards for stability and safety. Germany applies the most rigorous version of this standard: a machine may tilt no more than five degrees, even with a full bucket and a fully extended boom. Our machines pass that test with confidence.

Resulting in the most stable and safest amphibious excavators in the world.
With our machines, you’re choosing not only innovation, but also reliability and safety, wherever in the world your work takes you.
