Screening Dredger

Much material can be pumped with normal dredge pumps, but sometimes there are branches and roots that are too large in the dredged material. As a result, this cannot be pumped initially.

It is precisely in such situations that we look at how the problem can still be overcome. The result: the creation of the 𝘚𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦𝘳.

We came across this problem in the summer of 2024 when, through sister company Knoop BV were performing work in Cologne, Germany. The material encountered there consisted of excessively coarse pieces of wood, roots and reeds, making it unsuitable for discharge with conventional pumps.

The Screening Dredger makes it possible to separate the large pieces of sludge.
The large pieces are transferred by conveyor belt to a bucket, where an excavator unloads it from the land. Now that the large pieces have been removed, the remaining dredged material can be pumped to, in this case, a deeper part of this pond.
